Our Outreach Initiative
Purple Pathway is Kalipso's outreach initiative. The name embodies the goal of the initiative, which is not only a pathway for aspiring learners to grow and start their journey in STEM, robotics, and FIRST, but also our team's pathway in educating our community and the public!

Throughout the pathway we partnered with several organizations and started many projects. Read below for more details!
Kalipso STEM Kits
Our STEM kits are designed for young kids in underserved communities, who aspire to be involved in STEM and robotics. A maze of wire that kids must get a ring through, the kit beeps and lights up when the ring touches the wire. These kits aim to teach students about basic circuitry and electricity.

We partnered with KidsSpire to send these kits to their orphanages across the world, where kids were delighted to challenge each other and play with the kits.
Kalipso Krates
To expand on our STEM kits, we created our intiative Kalipso Krates to design unique and interactive STEM kits with accompanying lessons to incorporate engineering and fun STEM lessons into our community.
Kalipso Deep Dive
Our podcast, which aims to connect local industry professionals with high schoolers around the world. Our goal is to give students a bit more confidence in their future beyond FIRST by providing them with an accessible resource to career advice.
